This role is designed for a seasoned tax professional who will serve as a strategic advisor to onshore corporate clients and ultra-high-net-worth individuals (UHNWIs). You will champion complex tax structuring, outbound investment advisory, and cross-border wealth preservation frameworks.

This position offers flexibility to be based in either Hong Kong or Shanghai.

Key Responsibilities:

Tax Advisory & Structuring: Provide high-level, bespoke tax consulting services for corporate clients, covering cross-border investment architecture, outbound business expansion, and corporate restructuring.

Compliance & Technical Expertise: Monitor, analyze, and interpret evolving tax laws, bilateral tax treaties, and regulatory updates across Hong Kong and key overseas jurisdictions to mitigate financial risks for clients.

Knowledge Leadership: Lead internal technical training and spearhead high-profile client seminars/webinars on specialized tax topics; author professional technical articles and marketing content.

Project & Lifecycle Management: Oversee the end-to-end execution of complex tax advisory engagements, managing workflow delivery, timeline compliance, and performance metrics.

Job Requirements:

At least 8 years of robust experience in professional tax advisory,

Strong expertise in AT LEAST ONE of the following domains is highly acceptable:

Practical mastery of HK tax law, offshore tax claims, and international cross-border frameworks.

Proven advisory experience assisting Chinese enterprises in global expansion.

Holder of CICPA (Chinese Institute of Certified Public Accountants) or HKICPA (Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants) qualification. STEP/TEP designation is a distinct advantage.

Mainland background with current working experience in Hong Kong is highly preferred.
