The Bank’s Global Banking business provides a broad spectrum of financing solutions to large corporations and financial institutions. As a strategic financial partner to corporate customers, The Bank offers a comprehensive range of products and services including bilateral and syndication loans, project financing, property development financing, property investment loans, working capital financing, trade financing, cash management and treasury products.

Principal responsibilities

  • Provide fund operations support to asset management business, including procurement and administrative system maintenance
  • Provide support to monitor and detect any exceptions to investment guidelines, regulatory mandates, Bank Group guidelines and relevant risk measurements as set out for investment services business to comply
  • Prepare reports to monitor asset allocation and fund income with respect to regulatory requirement and for investment activities of investment service business
  • Develop and update monitoring tools to cater for on-going changes of the tailor-made investment guidelines, upon new fund launch and/or new financial instrument onboarding
  • Participate in User Acceptance Test (UAT) of system development
  • Perform reconciliation or equivalent reasonableness checking to validate NAV figures for fair investment fund valuation.

 

Qualifications - External

  • University degree in a related discipline or other relevant qualifications
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience and sound knowledge of asset management operations and investment products, preferably investment compliance monitoring
  • Advantageous for candidates with exposure and knowledge of regulatory requirement about capital market and derivative instruments trading both in listed exchange and OTC, e.g. equity option, repo, total return swaps
  • Proficiency in both English and Chinese, with strong knowledge of spreadsheet application software an advantage
  • Good knowledge of Bloomberg AIM or experience with investment compliance regulation coding is a big advantage
  • Strong self-motivation, with ability to work independently and under pressure
  • Great sense of ownership and servicing mindset to ensure efficient and effective customer service processes
