Our client, a MNC Company is looking for a Technical Architect to join their IT Team.

Responsibilities:

• Work with the Head of IT to define and implement the company’s technology vision and strategic plans.
• Provide strong technical leadership throughout the project lifecycle, including design, development, testing, deployment, and optimization.
• Turn business needs into scalable, secure, and easy-to-maintain technical solutions.
• Create system architecture designs, diagrams, and technical documentation.
• Mentor both local and remote development teams to ensure high-quality work and best practices.
• Manage the entire software development process for quality outcomes and risk management.
• Set and enforce engineering standards, including coding practices and secure development.
• Manage AWS cloud infrastructure with a focus on scalability, cost-efficiency, and reliability using Infrastructure-as-Code.
• Keep up with new technologies and industry trends to drive innovation.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
• At least 8 years of IT experience, with at least 3 years in technical leadership or architecture roles.
• Proven background as a Technical Architect or in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of modern architecture styles: Microservices, event-driven, SOA, serverless, and cloud-native.
• Hands-on experience with JavaScript/TypeScript frameworks like React.js, Next.js, React Native, and Nest.js.
• Experience developing mobile apps with React Native for iOS and Android.
• Understanding of web and mobile development with a focus on quality UI/UX.
• Experience with AWS cloud infrastructure and tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Familiarity with building high-availability systems using AWS EKS/ECS and container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Experience managing local or remote engineering teams.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices.
• Experience with e-commerce platforms is a plus.
• Proficiency in English; speaking Cantonese or Mandarin is preferred.
• Experience in Agile environments; relevant certifications are a plus.
