Department: Export Trade Compliance
Reports to: Manager, Export Trade Compliance – APAC

Job Summary

This role helps make sure the company follows all U.S. export laws and trade regulations when shipping products internationally. You will review export transactions, check customers and end users, and ensure everything meets legal requirements. If there are concerns, you will either approve, reject, or escalate the case to the Export Management Team.

Key Responsibilities

• Make sure company export and global shipping policies are followed.
• Support international shipping activities.
• Ensure export processes and documents comply with U.S. laws and company standards.
• Interpret and apply U.S. export regulations correctly.
• Review transactions to ensure compliance with trade laws in the Americas and globally.
• Stay updated on U.S. export regulations (such as EAR, FTR, BIS, OFAC).
• Screen customers and transactions against restricted or denied party lists.
• Investigate and resolve potential trade compliance issues.
• Advise internal teams on export compliance requirements.
• Ensure products and documentation meet both U.S. and international trade regulations.
• Conduct internal reviews and audits of export compliance processes.
• Escalate complex or sensitive issues to leadership.
• Support managers with research related to trade compliance programs.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in trade compliance (preferably in a multinational electronics company).
• Fluent in English and Chinese (required).
• Thai or Vietnamese language proficiency is preferred but not required.
• Ability to work well under pressure.
• Strong logical thinking and communication skills.
• High integrity and ethical standards.
• Detail-oriented and patient, even in fast-paced environments.
• Familiar with OCR and FileNet software.
