Role Overview
We are seeking a results-driven Human Resources Manager / Assistant Human Resources Manager to drive our talent acquisition strategies and serve as a strategic HR Business Partner. In this role, you will lead end-to-end recruitment operations, align talent strategies with overarching business objectives, and ensure seamless HR compliance across banking operations in Hong Kong and the PRC.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Talent Acquisition & Onboarding: Manage full-lifecycle recruitment and onboarding operations to attract and retain top-caliber banking professionals in line with manpower planning goals.
- HR Business Partnering: Collaborate directly with department heads to deliver professional advisory services, bridging business objectives with staff development and management strategies.
- Analytics & Management Reporting: Gather, analyze, and present HR metrics and statistical data for senior leadership, contributing to continuous updates of recruitment strategies and operational workflows.
- Compliance & Governance: Ensure all recruitment practices and HR policies strictly adhere to statutory and regulatory frameworks across Hong Kong and the PRC.
Key Requirements
- Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree or above in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline, with a minimum of 6 years of relevant HR experience (preferably within banking or financial services).
- Regulatory Knowledge: Deep understanding of the Hong Kong Employment Ordinance, relevant PRC labour laws, and banking regulatory/compliance standards.
- Core Competencies: Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and project management skills, with a proven track record of handling multiple high-priority deliverables under tight deadlines.
- Communication & Collaboration: Excellent interpersonal skills with a proactive, team-oriented mindset.
- Languages & Technical Skills:
- Full professional fluency in written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese); proficiency in Putonghua is highly preferred.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite (advanced Excel skills required) and Chinese word processing.
Candidates with less experience will be considered for the Assistant Human Resources Manager title.
