Our client is an established company in the logistics industry seeking an experienced Chief Financial Officer to lead its financial operations, corporate governance and strategic financial planning.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the overall finance and accounting functions, ensuring effective financial management and operational efficiency.
• Develop financial strategies, business plans and forecasts to support the company's long-term growth.
• Oversee financial reporting, budgeting, cash flow management, taxation and annual audits.
• Ensure compliance with Hong Kong listing requirements, accounting standards and relevant statutory regulations.
• Oversee corporate secretarial and governance matters, including board meetings, regulatory filings and company announcements.
• Provide financial insights and strategic advice to senior management on business expansion, investments and potential opportunities.
• Enhance internal controls, financial procedures and reporting systems to improve operational effectiveness.
• Lead and develop the finance team while managing relationships with auditors, professional advisers and regulatory bodies.
• Handle other strategic projects and assignments as required.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or above in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline.
• Qualified accountant with HKICPA, ACCA or equivalent professional membership.
• Minimum 8 years of post-qualification experience, preferably gained within listed companies or sizable organizations.
• Relevant experience in the logistics industry is essential.
• Previous experience in company secretarial functions and corporate governance is highly preferred.
• HKCGI membership and/or Chartered Company Secretary qualification would be a strong advantage.
• Solid understanding of Hong Kong Listing Rules, financial reporting standards, internal controls and regulatory compliance.
• Proven leadership experience with strong commercial awareness and financial management capabilities.
• Excellent analytical, communication and stakeholder management skills.
