The Role
You will be responsible for:
- Winning major international customers
- Converting buyers away from agents, traders and wholesalers
- Building long‑term strategic sourcing partnerships
- Scaling multi‑country sourcing programmes
You will have full accountability for global sales growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Originate and close large international sourcing programmes
- Leverage existing buyer relationships with retailers, importers, wholesalers and OEMs
- Secure framework agreements and preferred supplier status
- Work closely with regional sourcing and operations teams
Must Have- 10+ years’ experience in international sourcing, trading, supply chain or manufacturing
- Proven success selling into retailers, importers, wholesalers or OEMs
- Strong buyer relationships in Europe, USA and/or Australasia
- Deep understanding of Asian manufacturing and sourcing
- Commercial, deal‑driven mindset
Ideal Background- Managing Director / Commercial Director of a trading or sourcing company
- Global Sales Director of an international sourcing group
- Global Sourcing or Procurement Director with strong supplier networks
- Founder or partner of a sourcing or trading business
