We are looking for a Korean-speaking project coordinator for our client to manage end-to-end Korean transcription and translation projects, from freelancer recruitment and scheduling to quality review and workflow optimization.

Responsibilities
  • Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of assigned Korean transcription and translation projects (scheduling, execution, delivery).
  • Recruit, onboard, and support freelance linguists and vendors; coordinate allocation of work based on skills, quality, and availability.
  • Create event IDs, forecast volumes, schedule workloads, and assign confirmed Korean events to freelancers/independent contractors.
  • Review, edit, and validate Korean transcripts and translations, making judgment calls on revision requests and language quality.
  • Perform quality checks and independent assessments of Korean content to ensure accuracy, consistency, and client standards.
  • Maintain strong relationships with global freelancers/vendors and act as their main point of contact for operational issues.
  • Monitor and refine workflows, recommending process improvements to enhance efficiency and quality across projects.
Requirements
  • Native-level Korean with excellent written and spoken communication, plus strong command of English (other languages a plus).
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, preferably in translation, linguistics, language studies, or related fields.
  • 1–3+ years’ experience in translation, localization, transcription, or language services project coordination is preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Proven interpersonal and stakeholder management skills, comfortable working with multiple freelancers and internal teams.
  • Basic to intermediate proficiency in MS Office and confidence working with online tools/platforms for project tracking.
  • Proactive, adaptable, and eager to learn, with a problem-solving mindset and openness to new tools, workflows, and challenges.
