About the Role
The Senior Sales Engineer provides high-impact technical and pre-sales support to business partners and end users. This role is focused on customer success—delivering solution proposals, troubleshooting, commissioning support, training, and driving sales opportunities from discovery through quote/proposal and into ongoing customer support.
The top priority of this position is to offer effective technical support to customers (system integrators, consultants, and end users), including knowledge sharing, solution proposal, and troubleshooting. Prior proofed technical support experience is highly appreciated.
Key Responsibilities
- Support and follow up on product return, repair, and related processes.
- Identify and follow up sales opportunities, and prepare proposals and quotations to meet customer demands.
- Support sales channel development and management.
- Support customers through the full presales lifecycle, including tender, order, delivery, and maintenance.
- Collect Voice of Customer (VOC) and handle complaints/concerns professionally and effectively.
Preferred Industry Background (High → Low)
The ideal candidate has experience in one or more of the following areas:
- Video Surveillance Industry (preferred)
- Exposure to cameras and Video Management Systems (VMS)
- Familiarity with brands such as: Axis, Hanwha, i-Pro, Honeywell, Pelco
- Security Industry (manufacturing and/or system integration)
- Product areas: Video systems and Access Control
- Familiar with integrators/references such as: Johnson Controls, G4S, Siemens
- ELV Industry (manufacturing and/or system integration)
- Product areas: network equipment, building automation, IT products
Qualifications
Required:
- Proven experience in technical support / pre-sales engineering for security/ELV solutions.
- Strong ability to troubleshoot, provide solution recommendations, and support customers through sales and technical processes.
- Experience working directly with system integrators, consultants, and end users.
- Ability to support customers via presales tender/order/delivery/maintenance phases.
- Excellent communication skills for training delivery and customer-facing support.
