Metal batteries and proprietary AI-for-Science (AI4S) software platforms. Headquartered in the US, the
company operates world-class R&D, advanced manufacturing, and AI software hubs across Mainland China,
South Korea, Singapore and Hong Kong.
Job Responsibilities:
- Product Ownership: Take end-to-end responsibility for client-facing product definitions, requirement
management, and roadmap planning for the Molecular Universe (MU) platform. - Industry Insights & Value Proposition: Deeply understand tech trends and client pain points within AI
for Science (AI4S), materials science, and computational chemistry; translate these into actionable
product solutions and strong value propositions. - Prioritization & Strategy: Accurately grasp client needs while balancing technical feasibility,
engineering constraints, and commercial goals to formulate product priorities and iterative strategies. - Commercialization & BD Support: Spearhead external client communications, commercial proposal
delivery, technical exchanges, requirement gathering, and opportunity expansion to drive the
commercialization path forward. - Delivery & Localization: Coordinate client deliveries, custom solution designs, localized deployment
feasibility assessments, client training, and ongoing technical support. - Cross-Regional Collaboration: Work seamlessly with the Zhongguancun (Beijing) R&D, engineering,
and scientist teams to align product direction, technical capability boundaries, development
schedules, and client commitments. - Strategic Advisory: Act as a senior technical product leader to provide industry insights, competitor
analysis, and market strategies to support the formulation of the company’s broader AI4S business
strategy.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or above in Materials Science, Chemistry, Computational Chemistry,
AI/Machine Learning, or related STEM fields. - Experience: 5+ years of experience in product management, solution architecture, or technical
management within AI for Science (AI4S), materials science, computational chemistry, or scientific
research software; deep familiarity with academic and industrial R&D workflows. - Domain Expertise: Possess profound knowledge in the AI4S domain; thoroughly understand molecular
simulation, quantum chemistry, machine learning, and the application boundaries/implementation of
Large Language Models (LLMs) in scientific research scenarios. - Communication: Exceptional cross-team communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex
technical concepts and product values clearly to developers, scientists, and clients alike. - Client-Facing Delivery: Proven experience in client-side delivery, training, technical support, and
requirement management; familiarity with enterprise software localized deployment processes is
highly preferred. - Product Lifecycle: Successful track record of building scientific/AI products from 0 to 1 or 1 to N,
defining product roadmaps, and delivering client-facing solutions. - Language: Fluent in English, with the ability to interface directly with global clients and international
teams. - Mindset: Equipped with strategic thinking, commercial acumen, and a results-oriented mindset; a true
hybrid leader blending technical, product, and commercial capabilities.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in Customer Success or commercialization within AI4Science, materials R&D, drug
discovery, or new energy/battery materials sectors. - Hands-on experience productizing LLM / RAG / Agent workflows within scientific research settings.
- Experience in cross-border team collaboration, cross-cultural communication, and global project
management.
