Job Responsibilities
- Fabricate, assemble, and finish high‑end jewelry pieces (rings, necklaces, bracelets, earrings, etc.) in gold, platinum, and other precious metals according to design specifications.
- Perform casting, soldering, filing, polishing, stone‑setting, and detailed hand‑finishing to achieve flawless, luxury‑grade results.
- Repair and refurbish existing jewelry, including resizing, remodeling, stone replacement, and restoration of vintage or heritage pieces.
- Maintain strict attention to metal purity, weight, and quality standards throughout all production stages.
- Collaborate closely with designers, setters, and bench jewelers to ensure technical feasibility and precision in every design.
- Keep the workshop clean, organized, and aligned with health, safety, and material‑handling protocols.
- Support inventory management by assisting in metal and material tracking, and reporting any discrepancies.
Job Requirements
- Diploma or formal training in goldsmithing, jewelry making, or a related jewelry‑craft field; international certification or vocational training will be an advantage.
- Minimum 3 years of hands‑on experience in a jewelry workshop or luxury brand environment, working with gold, platinum, and other precious metals.
- Proven skill in casting, soldering, finishing, and stone setting on high‑value pieces.
- Strong understanding of metal properties, gemstone settings, and quality control standards in luxury jewelry.
- Extreme attention to detail, steady hands, and the ability to work with precision on very small components.
- Proficiency in using traditional hand tools as well as modern bench equipment and polishing systems.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, under tight deadlines, while maintaining exceptional quality.
- Good communication skills in English, Cantonese & Mandarin; additional languages (e.g., French, Italian) are an asset.
