Our client, a top tier FMCG company is looking for a Key Account Manager (~50k, WFH Policy) to join their team.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and grow market share for our candy portfolio in Hong Kong.
- Build, nurture, and manage long-term relationships with distributors, key retail accounts, and strategic partners.
- Proactively identify new business opportunities and onboard new clients to expand our market presence.
- Collaborate closely with the corporate headquarters and marketing team to co-create and execute impactful promotional campaigns that boost brand visibility and drive sales.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and consumer insights to inform agile and data-driven business decisions.
- Conduct regular sales performance analysis, provide clear reporting, and lead team reviews to ensure continuous improvement.
- Lead contract negotiations with distributors and retailers, securing mutually beneficial agreements.
- Maintain open and consistent communication with HQ, including periodic travel for alignment and performance updates.
- Stay ahead of industry developments and translate market intelligence into actionable sales strategies.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on sales experience in the FMCG sector, with a proven track record of independently developing new markets.
- Strong market acumen with the ability to accurately assess target segments, understand consumer preferences, and analyze competitors to shape winning sales strategies.
- Experience working with established FMCG distributors and major retail chains (e.g., supermarkets, convenience stores) is highly preferred.
