RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

  • Develop and maintain quality documentation, including procedures, work instructions, and quality control plans.
  • Oversee life testing activities at manufacturing facilities to ensure products meet durability and performance requirements.
  • Work with Quality Control team members to conduct new product inspection / testing from EP to PP, analysis and report / follow up the testing result.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement quality improvement initiatives throughout the product development lifecycle.
  • Participate in design reviews to provide input on manufacturability and quality considerations.
  • Perform supplier quality assessments and support supplier development activities.
  • Periodic audit at suppliers’ factories for new/existing products by reviewing and evaluating suppliers’ process capabilities and ensure the effectiveness and implementation of QC procedures in all partners factories.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve any quality-related issues, implementing effective root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions.
  • Work closely with suppliers to establish clear quality objectives, metrics, and improvement plans.

 

REQUIREMENTS:

 

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Mechatronic or Manufacturing Engineering or related field.
  • 5 years of experience in a quality engineering role, preferably in manufacturing/trading/buying office.
  • Experience with motor-driven appliances is highly preferred.
  • Strong understanding of quality management principles, methodologies, and tools.
  • Knowledge of quality standards and regulatory requirements relevant to the industry.
  • Open-minded thinker who takes the initiative and compliments the team.
  • Possess an entrepreneurial spirit with a personal interest in health and wellbeing.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese.
  • Proficient in PC skills, for example, MS office, Outlook, etc.
  • Willing to travel to manufacturing sites in China occasionally.
