Sales Manager – Retail Channel (Beauty / Fashion / Lifestyle)
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and inspire a small sales team to achieve optimal channel coverage, maximize business opportunities, and consistently meet or exceed sales targets.
- Coach, mentor, and motivate team members to enhance individual and collective performance, fostering a high-performance culture.
- Build and nurture strong, long-term relationships with existing clients while proactively developing connections with potential partners and key accounts.
- Stay ahead of market trends, monitor competitor activities, and identify new business opportunities, strategic partnerships, and growth initiatives in the Hong Kong retail landscape.
- Develop accurate sales forecasts, prepare insightful performance reports, and present updates to senior management.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams (e.g., marketing, operations, project delivery) to ensure seamless execution of client projects and high customer satisfaction.
Requirements
- Higher Diploma or Bachelor's Degree holder (preferably in Business, Marketing, or a related field).
- Minimum 10 years of proven business development or sales experience in the retail sector, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
- Prior experience in a sizable retail chain is highly preferred.
- Strong familiarity with the Hong Kong retail market, particularly in Beauty, Fashion, and/or Lifestyle segments.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel for market data analysis, reporting, and forecasting.
- Highly result-oriented, proactive, driven, and creative in problem-solving.
- Fluent in written and spoken English, Cantonese, and Mandarin.
