Key Responsibilities
Implement, monitor, and enforce site safety management systems in compliance with statutory requirements.
Conduct regular site safety inspections, risk assessments, and incident/accident investigations.
Prepare safety reports, method statements, and safety audit documentation.
Conduct safety induction, toolbox talks, and emergency drills for site personnel and subcontractors.
Liaise with government authorities, consultants, and project stakeholders on safety matters.
Requirements & Qualifications
Education: Higher Certificate or Diploma/Degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Safety, or Construction Management.
Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in construction site safety. Prior main contractor experience is preferred.
Registration & Seniority Mapping:
Safety Manager: Registered Safety Officer (RSO) with 15+ years of experience, including proven leadership on large-scale projects.
Safety Officer / Senior SO: Registered Safety Officer (RSO) with relevant site management experience.
Assistant Safety Officer (ASO): Candidates without RSO registration or with fewer years of experience will be considered.
