Our client, a top tier company is looking for a Research Analyst (~35k, Market Research) to join their team.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead Market Research: Design and execute primary and secondary research to gather critical industry intelligence.
- Scout Innovation: Track and evaluate research projects at universities and institutes to identify business opportunities.
- Build Partnerships: Act as the main liaison for universities, research centers, and industry associations.
- Deliver Insights: Analyze complex data and present clear, actionable reports and recommendations to management.
- Manage Vendors: Evaluate and negotiate with research providers, databases, and consultants.
- Monitor Competition: Track competitor moves to identify potential risks and collaboration opportunities.
- Partner Internally: Work with Business, Product, and Finance teams to solve specific research challenges.
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor's degree or higher in Market Research, Economics, Data Science, Social Sciences, or related fields.
- Experience: 1–3 years in market research, data analysis, or consulting (e.g., Nielsen, Euromonitor, or research agencies).
- Research Skills: Expert in survey design, desk research, and stakeholder interviews.
- Data Proficiency: Advanced Excel skills required; knowledge of BI tools or statistical software is a plus.
- Language: Fluent in English and Chinese (written and spoken).
- Mindset: Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
