About the Role

A leading manufacturer is looking for an experienced IT Project Manager to drive digital transformation initiatives and oversee enterprise application development across their business operations. The successful candidate will play a key role in managing end-to-end system projects, enhancing business processes, and collaborating with internal stakeholders and external partners to deliver high-quality technology solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), from requirements gathering and solution design through development, testing, deployment, and support.
• Partner with business users to analyze operational needs and translate them into effective technology solutions.
• Manage project timelines, resources, budgets, risks, and deliverables to ensure successful project execution.
• Oversee system development quality, architecture standards, and best practice governance.
• Drive ERP and EDI-related initiatives, including EDI mapping, process integration, IDOC management, and system connectivity with trading partners.
• Coordinate with internal development teams, external vendors, and business stakeholders across multiple locations.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation, system specifications, and end-user training materials.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend innovative solutions to improve operational efficiency and business performance.
• Support digitalization initiatives and continuous process improvement within a manufacturing environment.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 8 years of IT experience, including at least 5 years leading application development or digital transformation projects.
• Hands-on knowledge of enterprise applications and development technologies, including:
• ERP systems (Navision, Epicor preferred)
• SQL Database
• VB.NET, C#, Java
• Web and mobile application development
• Experience with EDI integration, workflow automation, and business process optimization.
• Familiarity with manufacturing operations, production workflows, MES, or OA systems is highly advantageous.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders while ensuring delivery quality and timelines.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Experience leading geographically dispersed or remote teams is preferred.
• Willingness to travel to Mainland China as required.
