Responsibilities:

• to assist in coordination, promotion and organisation of various food waste recycling campaigns, projects and events;
• to assist in conducting site inspections and surveys including preparation of site inspection reports;
• to handle database update and monitoring the food waste recycling facilities, food waste on-site treatment / pre-treatment systems via the monitoring platform;
• to prepare statistical analysis related to food waste collection service and the performance of food waste on-site treatment / pre-treatment systems;
• to liaise and coordinate with stakeholders (e.g. contractors, members of the public, property management companies) and handle enquiries;
• to provide administrative support to project management (e.g. clerical support and record management); and
• to perform other duties as assigned by the supervisors;

Requirements:

• a Diploma or Higher Certificate from a Hong Kong university, Hong Kong polytechnic, Hong Kong Institute of Vocational Education, Hong Kong technical college or Hong Kong technical institute, or equivalent, in subject relevant to science or engineering, or equivalent;
• Level 2 above in Chinese Language and English Language in HKDSEE or HKCEE
• full time post-qualification working experience in the Government in the fields of food waste reduction, food waste recycling facilities, food waste on-site treatment / pre-treatment systems and facilities management or other related domains;
• good command of written and spoken Chinese and English, proficiency in Putonghua is an advantage;
• good knowledge in computer applications including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Adobe design software, and video editing would be an asset; and
• previous experience regarding government food waste recycling project would be an advantage
