We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our HSBC team as Cyber Delivery Lead.

The Delivery Lead, Cyber ASP (Contractor) is responsible for operating as part of a global/regional team within the Cybersecurity organisation, with accountability to successfully execute Cybersecurity programs/projects across Asia Pacific.

The role holder is expected to have level of technical expertise across a number of technology disciplines combining project management with good stakeholder engagement skills to ensure Cyber Technology programs/projects are implemented successfully across Asia Pacific.

The ideal role holder would have experience in regional regulations and regulatory assessment.

Role Description
Experience of project management in a large-scale cyber financial services environment.
Knowledge in GRC related matters and Cyber regulations.
Extensive Asia Pacific experience (Taiwan, Sri Lanka, China, HK an advantage)..
Experience in assessing cyber regulatory compliance.
Broad understanding of Cybersecurity (Security Operations, Technology, Testing, etc)
Ability to build strong relationships with key project stakeholders (i.e. Country CISOs)
Ability to articulate project ideas, status and challenges to project stakeholder and obtain necessary support
Ability to understand complex problems and figure out actionable plans to achieve end-goals
Ability to provide ad-hoc support to Cyber ASP core functions, e.g. Country Management and Regional Office.

Qualifications
Minimum Bachelor Degree and/or experience in IT delivery preferably in the Financial Services industry
Qualifications – desirable but NOT essential one or more industry-recognised cybersecurity-related certifications including ISO270001, CISA, CISM, CISSP, CRISC
Confident and takes responsibility and ownership for work and personal development
Good spoken and written communication and ability to adapt style based on audience (Fluent in spoken / written English). Mandarin skills an advantage.
Ability to communicate technical subject matter to non-technical stakeholders
Ability to develop good working relationships with stakeholders
Ability and self motivation to learn and pick things up quickly
Proven ability and experience of working in a high-pressure, fast paced environment
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to produce clear and concise reports for targeted audiences

Key Responsibilities
Lead the rollout of new cybersecurity initiatives within the GB/GF/Region
Lead the development of the deployment plan for the region
Assess the operational readiness plan for the region
Ensure that there is sufficient support and commitment for all key deployment plans
Provide timely and concise updates to regional stakeholders and ensure they are well aware of the progress and impacts on the region
Escalate delivery issues in a timely manner to global/ local programme team
Provide input and support in preparation of various ASP governance forums.
Provide ad-hoc support to Cyber ASP core functions e.g. Country Management and Regional Office when needed
