- Source suppliers and products while managing costs and project budgets.
- Coordinate sampling, product development, production schedules, and deliveries.
- Collaborate with teams and suppliers to ensure project success.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage purchasing activities and monitor project costs to ensure budget compliance.
- Coordinate sourcing activities and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and manufacturing partners.
- Assist in the end-to-end procurement cycle, from quotation requests and supplier negotiations to order placement and follow-up.
- Support new product launches by arranging quotations, samples, and product evaluations based on client specifications.
- Track production schedules and proactively address potential delays to ensure timely project completion.
- Identify and recommend new products, materials, and suppliers to support business needs.
- Coordinate shipping arrangements and work closely with factories and freight forwarders to ensure smooth deliveries.
- Liaise with various internal teams, including sales, product development, quality assurance, and logistics, to facilitate project execution.
- Participate in supplier visits, factory assessments, or business travel when required.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree holder in Supply Chain Management, Merchandising, Product Development, Business, Textiles, or a related field.
- At least 2 years of relevant experience in procurement, sourcing, or purchasing functions.
- Previous exposure to consumer products, personal care products, cosmetics, luxury, or related industries will be advantageous.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
- Excellent communication, coordination, and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficient in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin, both spoken and written is a must.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
