Job Responsibilities:
- Source materials for garments and clothing, such as fabrics, interlinings, buttons, threads, zippers, trims, etc.
- Coordinate with suppliers to ensure material quality and timely delivery to meet production needs.
- Monitor and analyze market trends to ensure procurement strategies are effective and align with the company's brand image.
- Participate in domestic and international business travel to establish stable relationships with suppliers and explore new sources for materials and accessories.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely and accurate material preparations to support new product development and market demand.
Job Requirements
- Higher Diploma or above, with a preference for textiles, supply chain, business trade, or related fields.
8-10 years or more of practical experience in the procurement of garment fabrics and accessories in the apparel industry, with successful case studies of handling large volume orders. - Proficient in the characteristics and applications of various conventional and functional fabrics
- Familiar with domestic and international fabric and accessory market operations, with a rich and stable network of suppliers.
- Possess excellent negotiation skills, high data sensitivity, and the ability to support decision-making with data to secure the best procurement conditions.
- Pragmatic and straightforward personality with strong stress resilience, skilled in cross-departmental communication and coordination.
- Fluent in Cantonese, Mandarin, and English for both written and spoken communication.
- Experience in management roles for medium to large apparel brands or OEM factories is preferred.
