Our client is a luxury retail group and now is seeking a Marketing Director to join their business development. Lead and elevate the brand through strategic, data‑driven marketing and integrated communications. Own end‑to‑end marketing execution—from digital presence and VIP acquisition to PR, events and budget stewardship—ensuring measurable business impact.

Job Responsibilities

  • Marketing & Public Relations
  • Set the overarching marketing strategy and translate it into measurable campaigns aligned with business objectives.
  • Track campaign performance, deliver actionable insights to senior management, and optimize spend for ROI.
  • Manage digital channels (website, e‑shop, content, product photography) to ensure a compelling, consistent online presence.
  • Coordinate external vendors and agencies to deliver high‑quality creative and activation.
  • Lead media and PR relations to amplify brand stories and protect brand reputation.
  • Conduct market intelligence and competitive analysis to inform strategy and product positioning.
  • New Customer Acquisition & VIP Management
  • Design and execute VIP recruitment, onboarding and retention programs that drive LTV and repeat purchases.
  • Oversee CRM strategy and customer data management to enable personalized engagement and lifecycle marketing.
  • Implement membership retention and renewal initiatives to maximize customer value.
  • Brand Positioning & Product Image
  • Define and strengthen brand positioning across touchpoints; ensure all activations reflect the brand’s luxury positioning.
  • Collaborate on product design and visual identity to maintain cohesive brand expression.
  • Budget & Financial Management
  • Develop the annual marketing budget to support growth targets; monitor spend and reallocate resources to maximize impact.
  • Drive cost‑effective execution while maintaining creative and service standards.
  • Internal Control & Risk Management
  • Ensure robust internal controls across marketing operations to protect company assets and data.
  • Maintain compliance with internal control self‑assessments and regulatory requirements; escalate risks as needed.
  • Events & Project Leadership
  • Lead cross‑functional teams to plan and deliver flagship events, store activations and omnichannel campaigns from concept to execution.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously with clear timelines, KPIs and post‑campaign evaluation.
  • Special Projects & Stakeholder Management
  • Lead ad‑hoc strategic initiatives assigned by senior management and act as the primary liaison between HQ, brands and local teams.

 

Job Requirements

  • Degree in Marketing, Business or related field.
  • 10+ years’ marketing experience; luxury retail, watches & jewellery, or high‑end retail experience strongly preferred.
  • Commercially minded strategic leader with proven brand‑building expertise.
  • Strong executional track record across online and offline channels; excellent project management skills.
  • Up‑to‑date with market trends, well‑connected and resourceful.
  • Fluent in spoken and written English and Chinese.
  • Outstanding communication, presentation and stakeholder management skills.
