Our client – Global financial company, is now looking for IT Business Analyst within their team.

Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-driven Business Systems Analyst to play a pivotal role in our ongoing, large-scale core claims system revamp tailored for the Hong Kong market, with a primary focus on system integration. You will serve as the crucial bridge between local business stakeholders, technical developers, and our external/offshore partners.

Top 3 Core Responsibilities

1. Business Requirements & BRD Creation: Collect complex business requirements from key stakeholders and translate them into comprehensive Business Requirements Documents (BRDs) and functional specifications.
2. Stakeholder & Partner Liaison: Act as the primary liaison between the local business community, IT organizations, and external vendors. Crucially, you will need to closely coordinate and collaborate with an offshore development team based in China and technology vendors based in India.
3. System Integration & Project Execution: Drive the ongoing claims system revamp, focusing heavily on end-to-end system integration, problem-solving, and ensuring seamless technical implementation.

Key Job Responsibilities

• Work closely with key stakeholders across business functions to align technology solutions with business strategies.
• Prepare cost-benefit and return-on-investment analyses to guide decision-making during system implementations.
• Support complex business processes and manage multiple project deliverables simultaneously under tight deadlines.
• Analyze complex situations, conduct thorough research using multiple sources, and formulate innovative technical solutions.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in a technical field such as Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline. An MBA or advanced degree is preferred.
• Experience: 2–4 years of relevant experience as a Business Systems Analyst or similar capacity. Insurance/claims system background is a strong plus.
• Technical Skills: Basic knowledge of programming languages to comprehend and review code and basic functions. Familiarity with system integration workflows.
• Communication & Collaboration: Exceptional interpersonal and verbal communication skills, with a proven ability to manage cross-functional, multicultural, and remote/offshore teams (specifically across Hong Kong, China, and India).
• Project Management: Strong organizational skills to handle diverse tasks simultaneously and meet aggressive project milestones.
