We are seeking Senior Business Analyst for our HSBC team

Role Tile: Senior Business Analyst
Duration: 12 months
Max salary: 80K max

Principal responsibilities
Build and maintain strong working relationships with the product, operations & technology teams.
Collaborate with business partners, technology groups, suppliers & customers to design innovative, reusable and scalable solutions across custody settlements, safekeeping and connectivity functions.
Filter, prioritize and validate complex material from multiple sources into concise, meaningful and executable artefacts.
Drive the documentation of clear and detailed data models, process maps, business requirements, implementation roadmaps as well as test plans.
Define business, functional and non-functional requirements through partnership with relevant teams
Improve ways of working through regular retrospectives and engagement with project teams and partner functions
Work with technology leads to obtain and challenge development estimates including the alignment and prioritisation of resourcing requirements
Challenge the status quo to identify opportunities that deliver effective strategic outcomes
Proactively identify barriers / constraints including resolution paths and future mitigation
Manage delivery of multiple parallel initiatives across varying stakeholder groups

Experience with Settlements and Transaction processing is a highly desirable
Domain knowledge of Post Trade, Equities or Fixed Income within a Custodian, Broker Dealer or Asset Manager environment is highly desirable.
Experience with software development programme in agile / waterfall approach is a must
Previous experience with Lending & Borrowing and/or Collateral is an advantage
Strong analytical thought process with an ability to manage ambiguity and an aptitude for problem solving
Strong written and verbal communication in English, and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex information clearly depending on audience (e.g. internal stakeholders, clients etc)
Willingness to challenge and ask probing questions to validate priorities, proposed solutions and realisation of benefits.
Flexibility in approach, and the ability to show initiative and respond quickly to changing situations.
Thrives working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment working across different groups and time zones with ability to work autonomously while being mindful of when to seek guidance and approval
Experience with delivering change in Agile frameworks: this may include formal qualifications and/or certified online courses and/or evidence of practical experience.
Sound understanding of IT infrastructure and software development
