We are currently seeking a high caliber Senior Event Management Analyst to join our HSBC Asset Services team.

Job Title- Senior Event Management Analyst, Asset Services

Duration: 12 months

Salary: 70k-90k / month

Job Description:

Asset Services process corporate actions and income events for the markets and custody businesses supporting cross product and cross balance sheet. Event Managers are responsible for overseeing the lifecycle of an event including capture, data cleanse, reconciliation, notification, election management, entitlement posting, claims processing (tax and income) and post reconciliation clearance as well as providing key stakeholder management.

Asset Services client base varies from internal trading desks, Prime brokerage clients and other financial institutions. And cover a large element of products such as equity, warrants, stock lending, Repo, SWAP, CFD, Fixed Income and market access products. As well as oversight, the candidate will be expected to process where required.

Summary of Event Manager key responsibilities and deliverables of the Role:

- Risk Oversight of the Operating Hubs

- Sign off of all Voluntary Events

- Process complex / high risk events (when required)

- SPOC for the business and client (Risk Mitigation/stakeholder management)

- SME Capability - Lead, drive and execute change

Knowledge & Experience / Qualifications

A proven delivery track record combined with a sound knowledge of Asset Services events. The role requires a proactive and articulate individual, comfortable being part of a multi-disciplined team, dealing with a broad number of clients both internally and externally including operating hubs:

  • Accomplished understanding of Asset Services events including market anomalies per product
  • People experience including influencing, guidance and support
  • Client exposure and management
  • A solutions-led individual, able to self-motivate and deliver high quality results.
  • Continuous improvement and project management experience desirable.
  • Lateral thinker with an ability to interpret and solve complex issues.
  • Ability to act impartially, where required, to arbitrate in matters under dispute, build consensus, and resolve conflicts.
  • Excellent client management skills, with the ability to build and develop networks and relationships with both external and internal clients and stakeholders.
  • Excellent interpersonal, networking and influencing skills.
