We are currently seeking a high caliber Manager, Capital Management to join our HSBC Life team.

Duration: 6-7M Approx

Title: Manager, Capital Management – HSBC Life

Monthly Salary: Max. HKD90K exclusively

Principal Responsibilities:
• Support secretarial works for committees: support the preparation of the agenda and materials collection for the ALCO, support minutes drafting for the committees’ meetings, support the follow up works from the committees’ meeting and action items
• Support risk and control framework related to capital management: manage updates to governance policies / manual
• Monitor the company’s capital position: evaluates how various management actions will impact the capital position of the Company
• Support the drafting of finance-related proposal or analyses: work closely with Senior Management and CFO to perform deep dive analyses on specific finance or capital related matters for ALCO members / board members reference
• Support liquidity and cash flow monitoring: provide regular reports on liquidity risk exposure, maintain cash flow forecasting models to provide insights on future cash needs and potential liquidity shortfalls.
• Support financial reporting of Life Insurance and Properties Holding Companies.

Requirements:
• Sound knowledge of life insurance i.e. HKRBC and IFRS17
• Strong financial background – including in-depth understanding of financial markets
• Strong communication skills and a proven ability to work with international and virtual teams
• Strong writing skills
