Key ResponsibilitiesFull Set Accounting & Month-End Closing: Oversee and execute the end-to-end full set of books, ledger maintenance, revenue reconciliation, AP/AR, treasury, and month-end/year-end closing routines.
Group Consolidation & Enterprise Reporting: Prepare consolidated financial statements and reporting packages in compliance with HKFRS/IFRS to align with parent company standards.
Act as the primary liaison between the startup management team and the corporate parent's finance/audit departments.
Oversee full-spectrum monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing, management accounts, and group consolidation packages.
Ensure contract reviews, vendor risk assessments, and compliance with parent company audit mandates.
Education & Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline. Professional qualification (HKICPA, ACCA, CPA, or equivalent) is required.
Experience: Minimum 6–8 years of relevant accounting/finance experience, with at least 2–3 years in a managerial or supervisory role.
Industry Experience: Exposure to Leisure, Health, Wellness, Fitness, Hospitality, Retail, or FMCG environments is highly advantageous.
Agility & Mindset: Proven track record of working in a startup or fast-paced unit, combined with an understanding of corporate/enterprise reporting and compliance expectations.
Technical Skills: Hands-on experience with cloud accounting tools (e.g., Xero, QuickBooks) alongside enterprise ERPs (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite). Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills are essential.
Language Skills: Excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin).
