Responsible for overseeing the daily operations of facilities, ensuring buildings and services operate efficiently, safely, and within budget. The role combines operational management, leadership, and project coordination to support business objectives and service quality.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee day‑to‑day facility operations, including maintenance, cleaning, security, and health & safety.
- Handle customer enquiries, complaints, and emergency cases, ensuring timely resolution.
- Assist in planning and execution of building operations, including follow‑up on complaints and operational issues.
- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure service quality and compliance.
- Implement and enforce internal policies, procedures, and operational standards.
- Lead, supervise, and motivate on‑site teams to achieve operational objectives.
- Manage external vendors and contractors, including contract administration and issue resolution.
- Ensure full compliance with safety standards, building codes, and regulatory requirements.
- Monitor performance of in‑house staff and contractors, applying KPIs and best practices.
- Track and manage operational and client budgets, controlling costs and resources effectively.
- Provide subject‑matter expertise in facility design and operations, including power, cooling, safety, and security systems.
- Manage base building infrastructure, asset management, and preventive/statutory maintenance.
- Lead critical activities such as power shutdowns and IT‑related changes.
- Support office projects including relocations, new site setups, and downsizing initiatives.
- Drive continuous improvement using audit results and performance data.
- Ensure accurate reporting of Environmental Performance Indicators (EPIs).
- Collaborate with IT and regional security teams on CCTV, access control, testing, and commissioning.
- Support due diligence activities related to site selection, leasing, and procurement.
- Willing to attend meetings outside normal office hours when required.
Requirements- Experience in property and facilities maintenance is preferred.
- Strong leadership, vendor management, and problem‑solving skills.
- Hands‑on, operationally focused, and service‑oriented.
