Onsite with HSBC –Equity Derivatives Business Analyst

 We’re currently seeking an experienced professional to join the HSBC Equity Derivatives team.

Title: Equity Derivatives BA.

Budget: 110k

Job Type: Contract

We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our team as an Equity Derivatives BA. This is for a 12 months contract initially.

 Principal responsibilities

  • The candidate will work at improving controls over the Equity Derivatives trading activities and operations
  • This will involve analyzing, understanding existing process ( or tools) in order to draw up a process or solutions in order to comply with audit / compliance requirements
  • Work independently or with developers to define short, medium, long term solutions
  • Manage end to end Projects, such as requirement gathering, development, UAT, deployment and support
  • Follow up with users and manage different stakeholders to agree on a common solution 
  • Document the process, user guides, and solutions in confluence page
  • Support users post deployment

Requirements

  • Business analysis, requirements gathering and design techniques.
  • Experience of working into Equity Derivatives domain, especially in Structured Products area.
  • Good understanding of Front-to-Back work flow for trade lifecycle
  • Working level knowledge of Sophis is advantageous but not madatory
  • Must be familiar with Agile methodology
  • Experience in writing User stories and use Cases
  • Change management experience
  • Elicitation, defining, capturing and maintaining of business and functional requirements.
