The team is mainly involved in the outward clearing cheque/voucher processing tasks which come from bulk cheque deposit, counter, Cheque Deposit Machine (CQM) and Drop-in-Box (DIB).  The outward cheque / voucher processing services currently include the processes below:

  1. Bulk Cheque deposit processing and balancing
  2. Counter cheque / online and offline voucher processing and reconciliation
  3. Cheque Deposit Machine (CQM) cheque deposit processing and reconciliation
  4. Drop-in-Box (DIB) cheque deposit processing and reconciliation
  5. Item processing for AMH and HASE receivable customer deposit of cheques, online and offline vouchers
  • All CQM/DIB cheque deposit processing can be completed and meet internal OCS cut-off time at 21:00
  • All Counter/Offline clearing batch processing can meet CPC sorter (Capture Cheque Images) submission cut-off time at 20:30
  • Item processing cut-off time:
  • Drop-in-Box (DIB) cheques: 19:45
  • Outward clearing cheques: 20:15
  • Offline Voucher: 20:30
  • Online Voucher: 16:00
  • Exception Item Pull (EIP) to outsort specific cheques
  • Remote cheque scanner cheques: 20:00
  • Cheque Deposit Machine (CQM) cheques: 20:30
  • Counter, DIB and offline clearing cheques: 22:00

 

Work Conditions:

  • Overtime is required around 1-2 hours before or after business hours within the working days and subject to the business need.
  • Report duty as usual under Typhoon Signal No. 8 or above/ Black Rainstorm / Extreme Conditions if required in accordance with the announcement of HKICL.
  • Typhoon Signal No. 8 or above is hoisted / Black rainstorm / Extreme Conditions is issued after 15:00 on weekdays, HKICL will remain open and therefore Cheque processing operations should be provided, the team is required to work as normal.
  • Working hour: Mon-Fri: 13:30-21:30 (with 1 hr meal break)
