Job Responsibilities:

• Provision of legal advice and assistance to the team’s clients
• Representing clients through arbitration and litigation in a broad and varied range of shipping and commodities matters, including claims under contracts for sale of goods, charterparties, bills of lading, long-term contracts of affreightment, sale of second-hand vessels, marine insurance etc., claims arising from collision, grounding, salvage and general average, arrest of ships and jurisdiction challenge
• Advising clients in situations where urgent action may be required to protect their interests including seeking arrest of vessel and obtaining injunctions
• Advising clients with integrity and reporting any concerns to the partner
• Carrying out marketing, networking, and other business development activities

Job Requirement:

• Hong Kong and/or England & Wales qualified
• Fluent in English and Mandarin Chinese
• 1+PQE with experience in dealing with shipping disputes, international trade and commodities dispute

Salary Range

• HKD 80,000 – 170,000 per month (depending on seniority)
