Role Overview
We are seeking a high-caliber Director of Corporate Finance to lead a diverse range of capital market transactions. This role is pivotal in driving deal execution, from initial pitching and valuation to regulatory submission and closing. You will act as a primary liaison with regulators (SFC/HKEX) and professional parties, ensuring seamless transaction delivery in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the full lifecycle of corporate finance engagements, including IPOs, M&A advisory, pre-IPO investments, and debt/equity fundraising.
- Oversee due diligence, financial modeling, and valuation exercises. Ensure all transaction documentation and regulatory submissions meet the highest standards.
- Provide expert guidance to clients on listing rules, capital structure optimization, and strategic positioning.
- Serve as the key point of contact for clients, external advisors, and regulators (SFC/HKEX).
- Actively participate in client pitches, market research, and idea generation to expand the firm’s deal pipeline.
- Supervise and mentor junior team members, fostering a culture of professional growth and execution efficiency.
Requirements
- Bachelor degree in Finance, Accounting, Law, or a related discipline.
- 10+ years of solid experience in corporate finance, investment banking, or M&A advisory.
- Pofessional qualifications such as CFA or CPA are strongly preferred.
- Proven track record in executing complex ECM/M&A transactions with a deep understanding of HKEX Listing Rules and Takeovers Codes.
- Fluency in English and Mandarin is essential; Cantonese is highly preferred for local client engagement.
- Exceptional interpersonal and presentation skills, with the ability to thrive under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
