Onsite with HSBC - Assistant manager

We're are currently seeking an experienced professional to join the HSBC fund service team.

Title: Assistant manager, Fund services (Previous custody business experience preferred)

Max monthly salary: 30K

Duration: 6 months

Key responsibilities:

1. Timely deliver accurate reconciliation reports in according to the pre-determined timeline.
2. To exercise ownership over work files and client matters ensuring outstanding items are cleared or resolved in a timely manner.
3. Participate in workflow projects to improve servicing effectiveness and efficiency.
4. Develop ongoing good client relationships and ensure the realisation of client service agreement.
5. Contribute positively to completing shared tasks with common responsibilities and offering help to colleagues beyond own workload commitments.

 

Qualifications:

 University Graduate with at least 5 years of related working experience in custody business
- Experience in CA / Settlement / Fund of Fund business will be preferred
- Able to work independently on group projects
- Drive initiation to improve efficiency and accuracy in the team
- Ability to deal tactfully and effectively with custodian, customers and service providers.
- Well-developed communication and interpersonal skill
- Good command of spoken and written English, with additional proficiency in Putonghua an advantage.
- Good knowledge and experience in using internal/external systems – GHSS (as our internal custody system), IMS, Multifonds (as our internal A&V systems), Easyway and Bloomberg etc.
- Proficient in Microsoft software suite including Excel and Word.
