Our client, a well-established main contractor with a portfolio of iconic projects across Hong Kong, is seeking a dynamic Assistant HR Manager (C&B) to support our growing team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee monthly payroll processing and daily C&B operations for a large workforce.
- Analyze HR data & statistics to deliver insightful recommendations to senior management.
- Maintain and enhance our PeopleSoft HR system (experience in enhancements a plus!).
- Lead annual salary reviews, promotions, bonus exercises, and performance appraisals; prepare high-quality management reports.
- Partner with departments and project teams on manpower planning, staffing, and deployment.
- Drive employee relations, engagement initiatives, and handle labour-related matters collaboratively.
- Support policy reviews, ensure full compliance with HK employment laws & ordinances.
- Handle ad hoc HR projects as needed.
Requirement:
- Degree in HR Management, Business Administration or related discipline.
- 8+ years of solid HR experience in sizable organizations; 2-3 years in supervisory/Assistant Manager level preferred.
- Strong knowledge of HK employment ordinances and best practices (construction/project-based industry experience highly advantageous).
- Proactive, energetic team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in written & spoken English and Chinese; able to draft professional HR policies/documents.
- PeopleSoft HRMS experience (implementation/enhancement) is a strong advantage.
