Role Summary:
This is a project-based replacement role supporting the Hong Kong market. The position combines underwriting responsibilities with administrative duties. The successful candidate will provide quality technical underwriting service, support business targets, and contribute to new product and system development.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform underwriting tasks alongside administrative duties including data input, report assessment, and monitoring emails from insurance agents.
Provide timely, high-quality underwriting technical services with proper risk control to support business targets.
Contribute to new product and system development and enhancement.
Collaborate with related parties to implement changes and assigned projects.
Ensure compliance with company policies and handle insurance case processing and documentation.
Assist in coaching offshore New Business and Underwriting Teams.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
Education: Bachelor's degree, preferably in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
Experience: Minimum of 2 years' work experience. Open to candidates from any industry, ideally with experience as an Underwriter (e.g., policy assessment) or in an Administrative role.
Language: Excellent command of written and spoken English, Cantonese, and Putonghua.
Core Skills: Strong verbal and written communication, interpersonal skills, multi-tasking, customer service, strong computer skills, highly organized, and ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
