Job Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for full set accounting processes, including daily account recording, preparation of accounting entries, and posting work.
  • Monitor bank accounts and cash flow status, manage intercompany transactions within the group, and coordinate bank fund allocation arrangements.
  • Prepare monthly, interim, and annual financial statements on time, and support the preparation and reporting of consolidated financial reports.
  • Collaborate closely with the finance team in Mainland China to collect and verify necessary financial information, ensuring the accuracy, completeness, and compliance of report data.
  • Handle employer tax filing matters, including completing profit tax, salaries tax, and other related tax forms.
  • Coordinate quarterly and annual inventory counting tasks, completing inventory account reconciliation and variance analysis.
  • Execute regular reconciliations of intercompany balances and various general ledger accounts, ensuring consistency and completeness of accounts.
  • Facilitate communication between external auditors, partner banks, and government regulatory bodies (such as the Inland Revenue Department and the Companies Registry) and provide required documents for audits and compliance.
  • Participate in financial process optimization, system upgrades, and special projects assigned by supervisors, along with other ad-hoc tasks.

 

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in financial accounting or financial reporting; experience in cross-regional financial collaboration (especially in Guangdong-Hong Kong) is preferred.
  • Proficient in operating Kingdee accounting system; basic operational skills in ERP systems (such as SAP, Oracle) are a plus.
  • Familiarity with Hong Kong Financial Reporting Standards (HKFRS), financial statement preparation processes, and tax filing requirements (including profit tax, salaries tax, and business registration).
  • Strong information system operation skills, with the ability to efficiently use Excel for data analysis and financial modeling.
  • Excellent writing and verbal communication skills in both Chinese and English, with the ability to communicate fluently in Cantonese, Mandarin, and English across departments and regions.
  • Detail-oriented and cautious, with strong analytical skills, time management abilities, and the capability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Able to work independently and deliver high-quality results under pressure and tight deadlines.
