Responsibilities:
- Perform daily maintenance and servers, storage, backup systems, network switches, firewalls, Wi-Fi, etc.
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues promptly to minimize downtime.
- Coordinate with backend support teams to conduct system security reviews and implement best practices.
- Apply patches and security updates to equipment, often during non-office hours, to maintain system integrity.
- Document maintenance procedures, incident reports, and system configurations for transparency and efficiency.
- Collaborate with the customer and internal teams to ensure seamless support and proactive system enhancements.
Requirement:
- Diploma or bachelor’s in information technology, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
- 3+ years of experience in IT support, with hands-on expertise in servers, storage, networking.
- Proficiency in managing Windows/Linux servers, backup solutions (e.g., Veeam), and networking (switches, firewalls, Wi-Fi).
- Strong troubleshooting skills, ability to work independently
- Excellent communication for customer-facing support
- Willingness to work non-office hours for scheduled maintenance or critical updates.
- Bonus: Certifications like CompTIA Network+, CCNA, Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator, or Fortinet NSE
