About the Opportunity
We are partnering with a leading, independent global provider of aircraft maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) services to find a dedicated Assistant Manager, Quality & EHS. Headquartered in the region with an extensive global footprint, this organization is renowned for enabling safe, efficient, and high-quality aviation operations.

In this pivotal role, you will lead the quality control and environmental health and safety initiatives for the sub-business units. You will be responsible for upholding rigorous international safety and quality standards, driving continuous improvement, and representing the department across the wider group.

Key Responsibilities

  • Facilitate the team in conducting risk assessments and developing robust mitigation plans. Serve as the departmental coordinator for the Safety Management System (SMS).
  • Lead pre-audit preparations, conduct thorough investigations and root-cause analyses, and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
  • Act as the primary department representative for quality, health, and safety matters, working closely with group-level safety and environment teams to ensure compliance.
  • Oversee and manage the staff competence program, covering both technical and non-technical aspects to meet regulatory requirements.
  • Ensure alignment between the local sub-business unit and the broader group’s strategic direction and initiatives.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in aircraft maintenance, component engineering, or quality management.
  • A recognized degree in Aeronautical Engineering, general Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Strong familiarity with Part-145 regulations (EASA, FAA, and HKCAD). Knowledge of EASA Production Organisation Approvals (POA) and Design Organisation Approvals (DOA) is highly advantageous.
  • Solid background in quality management systems (e.g., AS/EN 9100).
  • Strong competency in audit skills, SMS frameworks, and root-cause investigation techniques.
  • Completed Hong Kong Airworthiness courses are a distinct advantage.
  • Exceptional leadership, project management, communication, and interpersonal skills with a good command of both spoken and written English.
