Role Overview
The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) will lead the Group’s finance function and own the Group’s financial strategy and governance. This role covers Group reporting and consolidation, budgeting, forecasting, financial planning and analysis, global treasury and cash flow management across multiple countries/regions, internal controls, and finance system/process transformation (including ERP and automation initiatives). The CFO will also partner closely with investors and the executive team on strategic planning, business expansion, and long-term growth. For major corporate initiatives, the CFO will play a key role in M&A and equity investment due diligence and support strategic investment decisions.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the Group finance function, responsible for financial reporting, consolidation, budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning & analysis.
- Oversee multi-country and multi-region treasury management, including cash flow, working capital allocation, and capital distribution.
- Ensure compliance and governance: maintain financial management practices in line with regulatory requirements, governance standards, and relevant compliance obligations (including listed-company or equivalent standards).
- Partner on corporate strategy and growth with investors, the decision-making team, and senior management, including strategic planning, business expansion, and long-term growth initiatives.
- Drive finance system and internal control improvements, including ERP implementation and finance automation projects; optimize financial processes and controls.
- Manage external relationships with audit firms, banks, advisors, investors, and other external partners.
- Key role in major Group initiatives (M&A and equity investments): participate in due diligence, support M&A evaluation, integration planning, and strategic investment decision-making.
Requirements
- Education & Professional Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree or above in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline. Relevant certifications such as CPA / ACCA / CFA are preferred. Proficient in financial management software and MS Office/Excel, with strong capability to design and build an efficient finance management system.
- Experience: Proven CFO or senior finance leadership experience across multiple countries/regions and multi-entity structures. At least 8+ years in senior finance management roles, including 5+ years of experience in listed company and/or IPO-related projects.
- Tax & Regulatory Exposure: Strong hands-on experience with relevant tax and regulatory regimes across Mainland China, Hong Kong, and Commonwealth jurisdictions (operational, regulatory, and/or transaction-related).
- Corporate Finance & Governance: Strong background in corporate financing, treasury/working capital management, corporate governance, and internal controls. Experience in listed-company environments or highly regulated settings is preferred.
- Strategy & Communication: Strategic mindset and high-efficiency communication skills; able to work closely with investors and stakeholders to drive decisions and execution.
- International Mobility: Able to accept long-term overseas assignment.
- Languages: Fluent in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin.
