Client Onboarding Assistant | up to 25K | 1-Year Contract (Renewable)

- Willing to weekday OT if necessary
- Willing to work on Sat. if required (have OT compensation)
- Experience in high volume account opening is a plus
Responsibilities:- Examine and validate account opening applications to ensure accuracy and completeness
- Carry out client name screening and assess potential AML risks in line with regulations
- Enter and maintain client data in internal systems with a high level of precision
- Follow internal procedures and compliance guidelines at all times
- Deliver work in line with agreed turnaround times and service expectations
- Take on additional duties or special assignments as required by the team lead
- Act as a point of coordination with front-line sales teams and their support staff on account setup queries
Requirements:- Postsecondary qualification (Higher Diploma or above) preferred
- Detail-oriented with a strong focus on data accuracy and quality
- Familiarity with the basic workflow of individual account onboarding is advantageous
- Collaborative team player with good interpersonal skills
- Previous exposure to account onboarding within financial institutions (e.g., banking or brokerage) is an asset
- Comfortable working with both English and Chinese input systems
- Proficient in written and spoken English and Chinese, including Mandarin
- Experience leveraging AI tools to improve productivity or efficiency will be viewed favorably
