Duties

• Develop and maintain scalable data platform solutions to support data storage, integration, and retrieval requirements.
• Assist in designing system architecture, data models, workflows, and technical documentation.
• Monitor and optimise system performance, identifying and resolving bottlenecks to improve efficiency and scalability.
• Perform testing activities throughout the SDLC, including unit testing, system integration testing, user acceptance testing, and performance testing.
• Provide operational support, troubleshoot technical issues, and ensure the reliability of data platform services.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline,
• At least 5 years of relevant experience.
• Hands-on experience in data warehouse development, data modelling, ETL processes, and database technologies such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, ClickHouse, or cloud-based data services.
• Proficiency in Python or Java, with solid knowledge of Linux administration, shell scripting, and system performance tuning.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms, containerisation technologies (Docker, Kubernetes), and CI/CD practices.
• Good command of written and spoken English and Cantonese, with strong problem-solving and communication skills.
