Job Summary

Our client, is an expanding IT company focusing on Gaming development and they are now seeking a hands-on Accountant with 3–5 years of experience to independently manage the full spectrum of accounting and finance functions. This role will report to the CFO directly operates as a one-person finance function, responsible for full set accounting, treasury operations, and direct liaison with banks, including handling AML-related matters and account opening.

• 1 year contract to permanent
• 2 months contract end gratuity
• Group medical after probation, 15 days AL

Key Responsibilities

Full Set Accounting

• Handle full set of accounts including AP, AR, GL, and month-end/year-end closing
• Prepare financial statements, schedules, and management reports
• Ensure timely and accurate bookkeeping in compliance with accounting standards
• Perform bank reconciliations and balance sheet reconciliations
• Assist in audit and tax filing, liaising with external auditors and tax agents

Treasury & Cash Management

• Manage daily cash flow and liquidity planning
• Handle payments, fund transfers, and banking transactions
• Monitor bank balances and ensure optimal use of funds
• Maintain proper treasury records and controls

Banking, Account Opening & AML Liaison

• Handle bank account opening, documentation preparation, and onboarding process
• Act as key contact point with banks for account administration and queries
• Manage changes to bank mandates, signatories, and account maintenance
• Handle AML/KYC documentation, periodic reviews, and alerts raised by banks
• Coordinate and respond to compliance or transaction-related enquiries
• Support account closing and banking facility administration

General & Administrative

• Maintain accounting policies and internal controls appropriate for a small setup
• Support process improvements and basic finance operations setup
• Assist management with ad hoc financial analysis and tasks

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline
• 3–5 years of relevant experience in full set accounting
• Experience handling accounts independently (SME / startup environment preferred)
• Hands-on experience with bank account opening and maintenance
• Familiarity with treasury functions and bank operations
• Exposure to AML/KYC processes or bank compliance interactions is a strong advantage
• Proficient in accounting systems and Excel
• Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to work independently
