This job category is responsible for co-ordination and completion of user acceptance testing activities (scoping to implementation) for medium to large sized changes to the digital channels (public website, Internet Banking, Sharedealing, Mobile) to ensure these meet customer expectations (both internal and external), ensuring defects are identified before release.

This job category will carry out some or all of the following tasks:

• Undertake test preparation for a variety of projects (resource estimating, planning, scoping, identifying data and environment requirements).
• Write and review range of testing documentation
• Co-ordinate testing tasks for specific projects, progress issues and escalate where necessary
• Regularly review testing processes in order to identify ways to improve efficiency.
• Plan and support validation activity for live releases of new services.

Digital Channel UAT Tester plays an important role by delivering quality and timely deliverables in supporting the implementation of digital strategy.

This position is responsible for, but not limited to:

• UAT Test cases preparation for all changes or enhancements on digital platforms products covering pre-logon and post-logon environment such as online application form portal, e-Banking platform covering desktop and mobile, WeChat, etc.
• Define/ provide support to define/write up test strategy and/or test plan of all digital platform functional releases.
• Participate in UAT review meetings, perform test results logging, report test results and participate to resolve issues with IT and solution vendors.
• Coordinate with stakeholder including but not limited to business owners, IT, external vendors and facilitate in reaching agreement on problem fix prioritization, acceptance criteria, etc.
• UAT Test cases execution for all changes or enhancements on digital platforms products.
• Provide support to production release verification when required over the weekend and/or weekday during mid-night hours to ensure that the release is successfully launched.
• Support production incident investigation and fixes testing in UAT and Production.
• Retain UAT records, including UAT sign-off and corresponding screen shots.

Requirement:

• The jobholder is required to liaise with other departments and/ or external parties on implementing digital solutions, and/ or events, therefore, he/ she is expected to have good communications, analytical and project management skills.
• He/ She is required to handle UAT of digital project implementation and/ or events with quick turnaround time, therefore, he/ she is expected to have a strong sense of creativity and self-motivation, and good time management skills.
• With growing stringent regulatory and compliance requirements, the jobholder needs to strengthen themselves with relevant compliance knowledge so as to provide guidelines and to frontlines.
• To cope with the ever-changing needs of commercial customers, the jobholder is needed to be well versed in the latest development of the operating environment.
