We are seeking a high-performing Equity Sales Vice President to expand and manage institutional relationships across UK, Japan, Singapore, and other international markets. This role is ideal for an experienced capital markets professional with a strong institutional client network, deep understanding of Asian equities, and a proven track record in revenue generation and client acquisition.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage relationships with institutional investors across the UK, Japan, Singapore and broader APAC/EMEA regions.
- Proactively identify new business opportunities and expand wallet share within existing accounts.
- Conduct regular client meetings, roadshows, conferences, and investor events.
- Act as the primary point of contact for equity execution, research, corporate access, and capital markets opportunities.
- Drive cash equities, block trades, primary and secondary offerings, and equity-linked product flows.
- Collaborate with ECM, research, derivatives, prime brokerage, and wealth management teams to deliver integrated solutions.
- Achieve and exceed annual trading revenue and client acquisition targets.
- Identify cross-border investment trends and monetize global investor demand for Asian equities.
- Deliver timely market insights, sector themes, and actionable trade ideas.
- Translate research views into investment opportunities tailored to client mandates.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in Institutional Equity Sales, Equity Capital Markets, Prime Brokerage Sales, or related capital markets functions.
- Demonstrated coverage experience with international institutional clients.
- Proven track record of generating trading commissions and capital markets revenues.
- Existing relationships with asset managers, hedge funds, sovereign funds, pension funds, or private banks of above regions (UK/Japan/SG)
- Fluent in Mandarin and English
