Supplier Development & Procurement Manager

(Enterprise IT Compute, Networking, Storage, Hardware & Components)

This is a dynamic hunter role, ideal for professionals who thrive on building supplier networks and driving procurement excellence across global markets.

Responsibilities

• Source and develop reliable suppliers and inventory channels outside Hong Kong and Mainland China to ensure a resilient supply chain.

• Leverage existing industry contacts and proven track records to accelerate supplier engagement.

• Manage end‑to‑end procurement activities including supplier sourcing, tendering, evaluation, contracting, and ongoing supplier management.

• Ensure all procurement operations align with corporate policies, procedures, and governance standards.

• Partner with Business Unit Heads to define procurement needs, finalize plans, and coordinate supplier evaluations.

• Lead and coach team members to deliver procurement projects on time, transparently, and in compliance with established processes.

• Drive continuous improvement by reviewing current practices and implementing opportunities for standardization and efficiency.

• Support regular updates of internal procurement policies and procedures.

• Undertake ad‑hoc assignments as required.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Procurement, Business Administration, or related discipline.

• Professional qualifications such as CIPS / CPSM are preferred.

• 3–6 years of relevant procurement experience, ideally in IT asset decommissioning or excess inventory of enterprise IT compute, networking, storage, hardware, and components.

• Experience in purchase contract drafting, commodity/category management, and strategic sourcing.

• Strong business acumen with knowledge of legislative and regulatory requirements.

• Solid understanding of commercial terms, procurement governance, and compliance.

• Proven leadership, stakeholder management, and change management capabilities.

• Excellent negotiation skills with the ability to influence across functions and levels.

• High integrity, resilience under pressure, and self‑motivation in fast‑paced environments.

• Flexible, dynamic, detail‑oriented, and strong‑minded.

• Fluent in written and spoken English, Cantonese, and Putonghua.

• Proficiency in Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP essential); ERP system experience is an advantage.
