Our client, a prominent main contractor in Hong Kong with decades of delivering landmark developments, invites applications for an experienced Insurance Manager to strengthen our risk management function.

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate and optimize insurance coverage for company assets, liabilities, ongoing projects, equipment, and personnel.
• Manage end-to-end insurance claims process; develop efficient workflows and liaise with insurers/brokers for swift resolutions.
• Procure tailored insurance policies for new projects, ensuring fit-for-purpose protection at competitive costs.
• Monitor compliance with HK insurance regulations, industry standards, and stay updated on changes.
• Develop and control the insurance budget to achieve cost-effective, high-quality coverage.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with insurance providers, brokers, and stakeholders for favorable terms.
• Maintain accurate documentation, conduct risk assessments, and prepare reports for management.

Requirement: 

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Risk Management, Insurance or related field.
• Solid experience in insurance management/ broking, preferably within the construction, engineering, or project-based industries.
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and excellent negotiation & communication abilities.
• In-depth knowledge of insurance laws, regulations, and best practices in Hong Kong.
• Proactive mindset with ability to collaborate across departments and external parties.
