About the Role

We are seeking an experienced social work professional to take on the role of Superintendent for our client. In this position, you will oversee both the physical environment and the social care services of elderly residential properties. You will lead a multidisciplinary team, manage ongoing facility renovation projects, and ensure oelderly residents receive high-quality, personalized care.

Key Responsibilities

Service Management & Elderly Care

• Oversee Care Programs: Design, implement, and review tailored care plans and activities that directly meet the physical and social needs of elderly residents.
• Frontline Support: Assist team members with complex case management, counseling, and volunteer service coordination to enhance community support.
• Tenant Engagement: Conduct regular visits to elderly and assisted-living flats to check on residents, build rapport, and identify emerging needs.

Facility & Project Oversight

• Renovation Projects: Act as the internal project lead supervising all current and upcoming facility modernization and renovation works.
• Property Collaboration: Work closely with property management and maintenance teams to quickly resolve estate issues and ensure a safe living environment.
• Home Safety: Partner with external health and safety professionals to run community programs that promote health and prevent accidents at home.

Stakeholder Relations & Administration

• Community Partnerships: Build and maintain active working relationships with NGOs, government bodies, and neighborhood partners.
• Public Relations: Plan and drive localized publicity campaigns and community initiatives to build a positive reputation for the facility.
• Quality Assurance: Manage the end-to-end process of program planning, progress tracking, budget monitoring, and formal reporting.

Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree or above in Social Work.
• Must be a Registered Social Worker (RSW) in Hong Kong.
• Atleast 10-15 years of solid experience, specifically operating at the Assistant Social Work Officer (ASWO) rank or equivalent.
• Proficient in both written and spoken English and Cantonese.
• Exceptionally patient, independent, and proactive, with the communication skills needed to talk to elderly tenants, contractors, and corporate partners alike.
