- Partner with Product Managers to define success metrics and analytical requirements for roadmap initiatives, new features, and product enhancements.
- Analyse user journeys, conversion funnels, cohorts, feature usage, and customer segments to identify friction points, behavioural patterns, and product opportunities.
- Provide analytical support throughout the product development lifecycle, including product discovery, prioritisation, launch readiness, and post-launch evaluation.
- Build and maintain dashboards, automated alerts, and self-service reporting tools that provide product teams and senior management with a consistent view of product performance.
- Design, monitor, and evaluate A/B tests and structured experiments.
- Quantify product impact, interpret experiment results, and recommend practical next steps based on analytical findings.
- Develop analytical models where relevant, including:
- Customer lifetime value
- Churn propensity
- Conversion pathways

- Product usage forecasting
- Use SQL, Excel, and Power BI to extract, process, analyse, and visualise product data.
- Translate complex analysis into concise and actionable insights that influence product strategy, roadmap priorities, feature design, and launch decisions.
- Maintain strong metric governance, analytical documentation, and data-quality standards across product reporting.
- Work with product, engineering, marketing, operations, and leadership teams to ensure analytical findings are understood and incorporated into business decisions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, Data Science, or a related discipline.
- A Master’s degree in a relevant field will be an advantage.
- At least 5 years of experience in product analytics, decision science, growth analytics, or data analysis for digital products.
- Strong SQL skills, with the ability to independently extract, clean, validate, and analyse complex datasets.
- Proficiency in Excel and Power BI, or equivalent business intelligence and data-visualisation tools.
- Experience with product analytics platforms such as Mixpanel, Amplitude, GA4, or similar tools.
- Strong understanding of digital product development, roadmap prioritisation, feature measurement, experimentation, and post-launch evaluation.
- Solid experience in funnel analysis, cohort analysis, retention analysis, customer segmentation, feature adoption, and product engagement measurement.
- Experience designing and evaluating A/B tests or other structured product experiments.
- Ability to translate ambiguous product questions into structured analytical approaches, clear conclusions, and practical recommendations.
- Strong product sense and commercial awareness, with the ability to identify product challenges and growth opportunities through data.
- Self-driven, detail-oriented, and capable of independently managing analytical projects and priorities.
- Strong written and spoken English communication skills, with the ability to present findings clearly to product teams and senior stakeholders.
- Full and valid Australian working rights are required.
