Key Responsibilities
- Handle daily accounting operations such as issuing invoices, recording receipts, and reconciling accounts
- Accurately input and maintain financial information in internal accounting systems
- Prepare and file financial reports in a timely manner
- Support month-end and year-end closing activities
- Provide general administrative and clerical assistance to the Accounting department
- Ensure all accounting work complies with applicable standards, regulations, and internal policies
- Carry out ad hoc support duties when required, including occasional external tasks such as visits to banks, warehouses, or retail outlets
Requirements
- DSE qualification with LCC Intermediate certification or above
- At least two years’ relevant experience in an accounting clerk or comparable position
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain precise and well-organized financial records
- Competent in accounting software and spreadsheet tools
- Good interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively within a team
- Solid understanding of basic accounting principles, procedures, and regulatory requirements
- An academic background in Accounting or a related discipline is an advantage
