About the Role

We are seeking a driven and client-focused Investment Counselor to join our dynamic wealth management team. In this role, you will partner closely with Relationship Managers to provide tailored investment solutions, asset allocation strategies, and proactive portfolio reviews to high-net-worth clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Advisory & Execution: Deliver comprehensive investment advisory services across global asset classes, aligning portfolios with client risk profiles, investment objectives, and market opportunities.
• Collaboration with RMs: Act as a subject matter expert alongside Relationship Managers to identify client investment needs, pitch tailored wealth solutions, and close business opportunities.
• Market Insights: Translate complex macroeconomic trends and market research into actionable, client-friendly investment ideas and trade recommendations.
• Portfolio Monitoring: Conduct regular reviews of client portfolios to ensure diversification, risk management, and alignment with changing market conditions and regulatory standards.
• Compliance & Governance: Ensure all investment activities strictly adhere to internal risk frameworks, suitability guidelines, and local regulatory requirements.

Key Requirements

• Experience: Minimum of 3 years of proven experience as a Relationship Manager (RM) or in an investment advisory role within wealth management or private banking.
• Product Knowledge: Strong technical proficiency across multiple asset classes, including equities, fixed income, foreign exchange, structured products, and mutual funds.
• Certifications: Meeting local regulatory requirements for investment and insurance advising (e.g., HKSI Paper 1, 7, 8 or equivalent relevant licenses).
• Skills: Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills with the ability to explain complex financial concepts clearly to clients.
• Language: Fluency in Cantonese, English, and Mandarin is required to effectively serve our diverse client base.
